Below we answer commonly asked questions about our service and privacy policies.
Data policies:
Personal data
  • Account data: We use email, names, and organization to manage and provide access to your StarOps account.
  • We use Auth0 to provide login and authentication services.
  • We retain your account details for the duration of your account and then retain data as required following the closure of your account. See data retention policies for more details.
  • Email marketing and CRM. We use Hubspot as our main provider. Hubspot’s data policy can be found here: https://legal.hubspot.com/privacy-policy You can choose to be removed from our marketing communications at any time, however if you are an account holder your email and name will be maintained for account management and product communications. We also use Fillout to capture any inquiries on our website, for waitlist, sign up, and/or product information.
Customer and user entered data
  • StarOps may be given access to one or more of the following: your development systems, repositories, infrastructure, and documentation, and as such we may require access via IAM policies and user access keys. User access keys are encrypted via Amazon KMS. Ingenimax does not store unencrypted user access keys.
  • You can control, monitor, and update access permissions to all keys at any time through your AWS IAM policies.
  • Users may also enter or upload data related to infrastructure configurations, code snippets, documents or other information in prompts.This information is used by agents to execute user requested tasks.
  • This data may be processed and stored as prompts or embeddings to service the account and improve agent ability to execute tasks for the account end users.
  • Through the use of the product, Star Ops may output code snippets, configuration files, or other assets containing customer data as a response to prompts. This data may be processed and stored as assets or embeddings to service the account and improve agent ability to execute tasks for the account end users
  • Stored customer and user entered data, and agent generated data, (including, prompts and responses) is logically separated between customer accounts. This data is both self hosted on Ingenimax’s cloud infrastructure and Weaviate, in the US. Weaviates’s security policies can be found here: https://weaviate.io/security
  • All data is encrypted in transit and at rest.
  • Ingenimax limits access to customer, user, and personal data by implementing appropriate access controls, including: (a) limiting administrative access privileges and use of administrative accounts; (b) changing all default passwords before deploying operating systems, assets or applications; (c) requiring authentication and authorisation to gain access to IT systems (i.e. require users to enter a user id and password before they are permitted access to IT systems); (d) only permitting user access to personal data which the user needs to access for their job role or otherwise limited to the purpose for which they are given access (i.e. Ingenimax implements measures to ensure least privilege access to IT systems); (e) appropriate procedures for controlling the allocation and revocation of personal data access rights, including procedures for revoking employee access to IT systems when they leave their job or change role; (f) encouraging users to use strong passwords, such as passwords with over eight characters, combination of upper and lower case letters, numbers and special characters; (g) monitoring and logging access to IT systems.
Use of cookies
  • Our website uses cookies for analytics cookies are retained for one year.
  • Our application uses cookies for analytics and login.

Passing personal data into prompts
To use StarOps you do not need to, and should avoid passing personal data into your prompts.
Prompt and response data retention
We retain prompts to train our models to assist with agent task completion, and to track product performance. Prompts and responses are also converted into embeddings and stored as vectors in our database.
Use of 3rd party model providers
StarOps may pass user prompts to one or more 3rd party providers to process prompts and generate responses. Data is encrypted before being passed to any 3rd party partners.
StarOps will not pass personal data directly to any 3rd party provider but personal data entered into chat prompts, or attached in files to augment prompts, may be passed to our 3rd party model providers.
Our 3rd party model providers do not retain any customer data for their own training purposes.
General data retention and deletion policies
Your information is retained for the minimum necessary period to fulfill our legal and contractual obligations, develop our products and services, resolve disputes, enforce our rights, for legitimate business purposes, such as tax or accounting requirements.
When we no longer have an ongoing legitimate business need to process your information, we will either delete or anonymize it.
Availability:
Ingenimax’s platform is available to users in all regions where we have a right to operate. As a US based company we adhere to all sanctions and restrictions defined by the US Department of the Treasury and therefor our platform is not available in any region where there are applicable sanctions and restrictions on our operations.
Ingenimax partners with third party model providers and operates only in regions that are supported by our partners.
